A fire broke out at Makuza Peace Plaza building in Kigali, Rwanda, on the morning of Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024.
According to Rwanda National Police spokesperson ACP Rutikanga Boniface, emergency services responded swiftly upon notification of the blaze.
“The fire department was immediately dispatched to the scene to assess the situation and ensure the building was evacuated,” Boniface stated.
Thankfully, no injuries have been reported at this time. The extent of the damage remains unclear, but authorities are expected to release further details soon.
