It was a good day for golfer Innocent Rutamu who hit the fairways a lot more and putt with precision to emerge the overall winner in the Heineken Bralirwa competition at Falcon Golf Course over the weekend.
Rutamu, the 2018 Transform Africa Golf winner competed fiercely in the Group I returning 60 Net to edge the other golfers for the top prize.
The one-day Heineken Golf Corporate competition was organized under the partnership between Bralirwa and Falcon Golf Club, located on the shores of pristine waters of Lake Muhazi, Rwamagana.
Dr Devis Kashaka Karegeya finished as second runners up after turning in 72 Net then Joseph Semwaga was the first runners up with 69 Net.
Playing in Group II, Bob Gatera returned 63 Net to come as the second runner up while Max Veglio finished as first runners-up with 62 Net. Gurmit Santokh was the winner in this group with 57 Net.
Group III was also another competitive pool, which saw David Nzochi returning 67 Net to come as second runners-up.
Albert Akimanzi was rewarded as first runners-up having returned 62 Net whereas Richard Sezibera claimed this pool with 61 Net.
The senior’s category was won by Bar Singam, he returned a 59 Net, while Karani Singh finished as first runners-up with 71 Net.
Taking the ladies title was Marvika, she returned a 78 Net, the Piga Miga golfer of the competition was Steven Kinuka, who returned 79 Net.
