The membership of Falcon Golf Course at the shores of lake Muhazi is hoping to see a little love for the facility this Saturday, February, 15th.
Falcon will host the Valentine’ Day golf competition, in an event which is open to women and men, members and non-members, according to Innocent Rutamu the Chair of Falcon Golf Course.
The format of play will be Stroke play, where golfers will be teeing off in five categories which include elite golfers, handicap 0-9, 10-18, 19-28 as well as seniors and the ladies’ categories.
The semi-formal evening includes lots of trophies lined up for each category on top of barbecue on the house, Valentine’s goodies and lots of fun.
According to organizers, golfers will be playing multiple rounds of golf, plenty of other activities will also be available like combining the game by discovering the natural secrets of the golf resort, go fishing, enjoy plenty of water sports activities which including a boat trip at lake Muhanzi as well as the best dishes.
The tournament is organized to celebrate Valentine’s Day, also called Saint Valentine’s Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine.
The day is celebrated annually on February 14. Originating as a Western Christian feast day honoring one or two early saints named Valentines, Valentine’s Day is recognized as a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of romance and romantic love in many regions around the world.
