Prime Minister Dr Edouard Ngirente this Tuesday presented to both Chambers of Parliament the government actions in the education sector.
The presentation was focused on National Strategies for Transformation (NST 1) programmes implemented between 2017 – 2020.
Members of Parliament commended the progress made in the education sector during the discussions and urged the government to continue addressing challenges including overcrowded classrooms, few schools for people with disabilities, inadequate facilities among others to improve the quality of education in the country.
