Nigerian Afrobeat singer and rapper Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema has arrived in Kigali where he is expected to perform in a concert that will put an end to the BK All-Star Game.
The artist arrived in Kigali accompanied by a group of music assistants. He was welcome by his Rwandan fans and then drove to the hotel where he was staying.
The 21-year old artist will perform for Rwandans on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at a concert in Kigali Arena. He arrived in Rwanda two days before his concert, as he is expected to visit various parts of the country.
The concert will be attended by Rwandan artists including Kivumbi, Mike Kayihura, Social Mula and Bull Dogg.
Born on May 1, 2000, in Edo State, Nigeria, the rapper rose to prominence with the release of the song “Iron Man”, which appeared on Barack Obama’s 2019 summer playlist.
In 2019 he signed a contract with Jonzing World, Don Jazzy’s second Mavin Records in Africa, which also promoted artists including Tiwa Savage.
