Three Rwandan members of Parliament were on Tuesday involved in a car accident along Gahanga, Kicuriko district road. The identified MPs are the President of Democratic Green Party of Rwanda, Dr. Frank Habineza, Hon Germaine Mukabalisa and Hon. Annoncé Manirarora.
The evening accident occurred on November 14, 2023 when Hon Habineza, while travelling with Hon Mukabalisa and Hon. Manirarora were involved in a Sinotruk Howo truck while heading to Bugesera District, luckily they survived.
SSP René Irere, the spokesperson of the Traffic Police Department confirmed this information, saying that no one was injured in the accident.
He further noted that an investigation is underway to establish what could have caused the accident.
