President Paul Kagame is in Doha for a 3-day State visit for the Third Edition of Qatar Economic Forum, at the invitation of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar.
Powered by Bloomberg, the three-day forum being held at The Katara Towers: Fairmont and Raffles Hotels is expected to bring more than 1,000 global business leaders from across the world together at the event.
According to the office of the President, “This morning in Doha, President Kagame joins His Highness the Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Founder of Bloomberg Michael Bloomberg and other leaders for the Opening Ceremony of the Forum”
The forum is aimed at delving into the latest advancements in finance, energy, healthcare, and technology through keynote interviews, panel discussions, and interactive workshops.
In addition, it seeks to explore how these trends can drive future growth and shed light on the burgeoning south-to-south economy.
The Forum will feature esteemed speakers from around the world, including government leaders, CEOs, global investors, and influential figures from the realms of culture, sports, and entertainment.
