Uganda’s Lieutenant General Muhoozi Kainerugabo, Senior Presidential Advisor on Special Operations and Commander of UPDF Land Forces is back in Kigali again for an official visit to discuss Rwanda-Uganda relations.
At Kanombe airport, he was welcomed on Monday March 14 by the staff of the Ugandan Embassy in Rwanda and by Rwandan security officials.
During his recent visit to Rwanda he met President Kagame on January 29 to relaunch cooperation between Rwanda and Uganda.
The discussions with President Kagame led to the gradual normalization of relations between the two countries and the reopening of the common border between the two countries.
This Monday evening he met again with President Kagame at Village Urugwiro.
