A road accident involving a Fuse truck at Kadasomwa in Rusizi on Friday left three people killed and 18 cows dead.
According to reports from the Executive Secretary of Kamembe Sector, Jean Pierre Iyakaremye, the accident which happened at 6:45 on Friday was caused when a Fuso truck lost brakes ramming into the ditch.
“The car was carrying four people who were taking cattle to DR-Congo. Two died on spot, the other also died after on the way to the hospital for treatment,” he added.
