President Paul Kagame on Saturday addressed the G20 Leaders’ Summit where he delivered remarks on behalf of the NEPAD in the dialogue on overcoming Covid-19 pandemic and restoring economic growth.
President Kagame said that it’s a must to end the pandemic through the rapid and equitable distribution of vaccines in every country of the world, and reminded the importance of charting a pathway back to global growth.
He also recommended the G20 for mobilising the resources for the access to Covid–19 tools accelerator.
“We must continue to work together to ensure that no one is left behind as the world recovers from this crisis,” President Kagame said.
The virtual G20 summit 2020 that brought together world leaders was organised by Saudi Arabia.
