The Kingdom of Morocco is following with concern the events taking place over the past few hours in Mali, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad said on Tuesday August 18, 2020.
“The Kingdom of Morocco, attached to stability in this country, calls on the various parties to engage in responsible dialogue, respect the constitutional order and preserve the democratic gains, in order to avoid any backtracking that is harmful to the Malian people”, the Ministry said in a statement (MAP).
