Spanish coach Carlos Alos Ferrer has left his role as Rwanda’s head coach, after signing a lucrative deal as a Belarusian new head coach.
Fresh reports on social media showed Ferre being unveiled as the newly appointed head coach of the White Wings on Tuesday, August 8, replacing Georgy Kondratyev.
Carlos Alos Ferrer took over Rwanda in March 2022 to replace Vincent Mashami. On Tuesday, August 8, he confirmed that he was leaving his role as Rwanda coach.
The Spanish gaffer in March signed a two-year contract extension after committing his future to the national team Amavubi until March 2025.
Fresh reports indicated that he wanted to terminate his deal after receiving a lucrative offer from a yet-to-be confirmed team.
Reliable sources report Ferrer has signed a one-year contract to become Belarusian senior national team head coach. He replaces Georgy Kondratyev.
He is expected to make over FFW$180,000 roughly Frw 200 million each month in addition to other benefits. In Rwanda he earned US$12000 estimated Frw 14million a month.
