The Euro (EUR) and British Pound (GBP) have also fluctuated against the Rwandan Franc. On February 3, 2025, 1 EUR was valued at 1,432.47 RWF, down from a recent high of 1,466.98 RWF on January 30. The British Pound stood at 1,740.68 RWF, a drop from 1,772.83 RWF just a day earlier.
The weakening of the Franc could increase the cost of imported goods and services, placing pressure on local businesses and consumers. On the flip side, exporters may benefit from improved competitiveness on the global.
