The country this Tuesday recorded its 39th and 40th deaths linked to Covid-19, the Ministry of Health said the two death were men aged 45 and 50 in Rwamagana. On the same day 20 new cases were identified out of 2,974 samples taken on Tuesday November 10.
The latest confirmed infections brings the number to 5,262 but 4,967 have healed from the disease and only remains 255 active patients. Rwanda has already carried out a total of 574,876 tests for Covid-19.
Among the 20 new cases identified in the last 24 hour 13 come from Kigali; 3 from Muhanga; 1 from Nyanza; 2 from Rubavu and 1 from Rwamagana.
With an increase in daily infections government has warned of another wave of severe infections that can lead to a possible return into lockdown in case violation measures put in place to control the spread of Covid-19 infections continues in the population.
