Amavubi will face Cameroon and Congo-Brazzaville in separate friendly matches as the Rwandan side prepares for their 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN) preparations.

Rwanda will face the Indomitable Lions  in Yaoundé on 24 February 2020 according to confirmation from local football body FERWAFA.

The Wasps will then host the Red Devils of Congo-Brazzaville four days later on Friday 28 February in Kigali at Amahoro National Stadium at 3:00pm.

Amavubi will know their opponents for the 2020 African Nations Championship during the official draws of the final tournament scheduled to be held on 17 February 2020 at Palais Polyvalent des Sports de Yaoundé in Yaoundé.

CHAN 2020 is scheduled to kick off from 4 to 25 April 2020 in Cameroon. This will be the fourth appearance in the tournament for Amavubi Stars.

Last month, FERWAFA maintained the Vincent Mashami will stay as the head, however, the former Bugesera FC and APR FC is yet to put pen on paper.
