The ministry of health on Sunday diagnosed positive ten new cases for COVI-19 bringing the number of infected patients to 70 in the country.
According to the ministry, from the ten new cases six travelers came from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, two from South Africa, one from Nigeria, and another had frequent travel history within the East African region, all had been quarantined.
In a statement, all patients are being treated in an isolated health facility and are in stable condition. The majority of the patients no longer displayed symptoms of the disease and no one is in serious condition.
In Africa, the disease has been confirmed in 46 countries, with a total of 4,350 infected, and 134 deaths. Worldwide as of Sunday there were reports of a total of 724,952 infections; 34,017 deaths; 152,076 healings.
The United States now leads with 142,735 infections, 2,489 deaths. Italy comes second with 97,689 infections; 10,779 deaths; and 756 deaths just Sunday. For three consecutive days, the country has experienced a timid slowdown. The contagiousness curve slows down. It reached + 5.6% compared to Saturday against + 7.4% last Friday. China is 3rd with 81,470 infections (it has stabilized the situation); 3,304 deaths; and 4 deaths for that day so far. Spain has 80,110 infections, 6,803 deaths, including record 838 deaths yesterday compared to 832 the day before. France is experiencing an increase these days with 40,174 infections; 2,606 deaths. Iran has 38,309 infections; 2,640 deaths. The United Kingdom also saw an increase with 19,522 infections, 1,228 deaths.
