Rivals APR FC and Rayon Sports FC will lock horns at the 2023 Rwanda Super Cup, which will take place at Kigali Pele Stadium this Saturday, August 12, targeting not only the trophy but bragging rights.
The Army side will be hoping to add the cup into its trophy cabinet as the season super champion having won the 2022/2023 trophy, while Rayon Sports, who are high on confidence after lifting the 2023 Peace Cup, can’t wait to have their finger in the pie.
Having lost the Super Cup title to AS Kigali, APR are also looking to make amends for last season’s Peace Cup defeat to Rayon when the two teams meet again ahead of the league’s start this month.
The two teams went head-to-head at the Peace Cup, and Rayon won 1-0 to lift the trophy at Huye Stadium.
