The Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) Infantry Brigade has successfully completed a rigorous four-month Advanced Infantry Training course at the Combat Training Centre (BMTC) in Nasho, Kirehe District.
The graduation ceremony was presided over by the RDF Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Mubarakh Muganga, who commended the soldiers for their dedication and perseverance throughout the intensive program.
In his address, General Muganga underscored the significance of continuous training in strengthening national security. He highlighted that the course equips soldiers with the necessary skills to safeguard Rwanda’s territorial integrity and effectively respond to emerging threats.
He urged the graduates to apply the expertise gained during training in their operational duties and to uphold discipline, emphasizing that it remains a key pillar of excellence in military service.
The comprehensive training covered a wide range of subjects, including marksmanship, battlefield tactics, command and control, martial arts, physical fitness, and heliborne operations, ensuring that the soldiers are well-prepared for modern combat scenarios.
This advanced training initiative reflects the RDF’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the professionalism and combat readiness of its forces.
