The Rwanda Defence Force (RDF), announced today that Brigadier General Patrick Karuretwe has been appointed as the new RDF spokesperson
The announcement was made today on X, that Brigadier General Karuretwe replaces Brigadier General Ronald Rwivanga. Karuretwa, previously led the RDF’s international Military Cooperation department.
In the other appointments, His Excellence President Paul Kagame has appointed James Wizeye as Deputy Director General of the National Intelligence and Security Services (NISS),CP Theos Badege, as Deputy Inspector General of Rwanda National Police (RNP), and Judith Mbabazi, as Deputy Chief Spector responsibility for preventing and combating corruption.
