Former APR FC goalkeeping coach instructor, Haj Hassan Taieb, has officially returned to the club as an assistant to newly appointed head coach, Moroccan Taleb Abderrahim.
Taieb, who previously served under Moroccan coach Adil Erradi Mohammed during his tenure at APR FC in 2020, rejoins the military side in a familiar supporting role. Back then, he was brought in to serve as a trainer of goalkeeping coaches.
After parting ways with APR FC when Erradi left, Taieb has now made his comeback, joining Abderrahim’s technical bench as one of two assistants. His return marks a continuation of Moroccan influence within the APR FC coaching setup.
A renowned name in African football coaching circles, Haj Hassan Taieb has extensive experience in developing goalkeeping coaches. As a former youth international for Morocco, he represented his country in the 1984 FIFA U-19 World Cup held in Australia and played for the Moroccan national team for two decades.
In 1987, he moved to Europe, launching his professional career in Portugal where he played for 14 years at clubs including Sporting Pien, Penafiel, Deportivo Lousa, and Deportivo Dejan.
Following his retirement from active football, Taieb shifted his focus to coaching. He studied in Spain where he earned a UEFA B License and later acquired a UEFA A License in Germany. Returning to Morocco, he conducted coaching clinics for goalkeeper coaches under the Confederation of African Football (CAF), earning CAF D, C, and B coaching certifications.
His coaching resume also includes work with the Real Madrid youth academy, specifically training under-15 players in Morocco.
Taieb’s return to APR FC is expected to bolster the club’s technical capabilities as it seeks to reassert dominance in domestic football and beyond.
Taieb last coached at APR FC in 2020, during Adil Erradi Mohammed’s tenure. He now returns as an assistant to fellow Moroccan, Taleb Abderrahim.
