France’s Total Energies and Germany’s Team Bike Aid are among the first cycling teams to arrive for the 15th edition of Tour du Rwanda cycling competition scheduled for February 19-26, 2023.
Also, in town is Belgian Soudal Quick-Step Devo Team, Bolton Equities Black Spoke (New Zealand) and Terengganu Polygon Cycling Team of Malaysia who arrived on Wednesday.
According to Tour du Rwanda organizers, other teams including USA, Great Britian, Israel, China, Eritrea, and South Africa will arrive on Thursday.
Euskaltel Euskadi from Spain and the Morocco National Team will arrive on Friday.
This year cycling competition will bring together 14 professional team and six national teams contesting in eight states to cover a total distance of 1,129 kilometers, unlike last year’s 937km.
Eritrea’s Natnael Testefazion who riders for Italian club Drone Hopper–Androni Giocattoli, won the Yellow Jersey during the 14th edition of Tour du Rwanda.
