The Confederation of Africa Football Executive Committee will meet in Kigali, Rwanda this weekend on Saturday, May 15, 2021.
The meeting will be chaired by CAF president Dr. Patrice Motsepe and is expected to discuss the impact of the pandemic on different competitions.
Last week, “, the CAF Emergency Committee, in consultation with FIFA, decided to postpone the CAF qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 that were due to be played in June 2021 after taking into consideration the current challenges caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, and the need to ensure the optimal playing conditions for all participating teams,” the statement read.
The last CAF Executive Committee meeting was held on March 30, 2021 by video conference.
