Fabrice Kwizera, the General Manager, underscores the hotel’s commitment to affordable luxury, emphasizing their aim to excel as the premier urban hotel in northern Rwanda. Their goal is to promote tourism by offering luxurious experiences.
After graduating from the United States of America, Kwizera returned to his hometown in search of opportunities. He began with a small family property to establish a guesthouse with 13 rooms.

“There’s no place like home, and Africa offers more opportunities for growth than elsewhere,” Kwizera observes.
“We have recorded fast growth and the future is promising,” he adds.
Kwizera reflects on the transformative journey of building the hotel when the momentum of rebuilding the nation was at its highest. He attributes its progress to the peace Rwanda enjoys, a result of the selfless sacrifice of Rwandans who liberated the nation 30 years ago.
Since its inception in 2013, the hotel has experienced significant growth – from a modest beginning – attributed to overwhelming desire to tap into Rwanda’s prime tourist destination. The natural endowments such as mountain gorillas, volcanic mountains, caves, crater lakes and cool climate, presents Musanze as a hub of many opportunities in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
Today, Best View Hotel boasts 75 nice guest rooms and employs over 100 workers across different departments. Management emphasizes plans for expansion in response to increasing demand.
