Rwandan defender Emery Bayisenge has returned to Bangladesh’s Saif Sporting Club, where he has signed a new two-year contract deal.
The 27-year-old renewed his contract on Monday, November 8, 2021 to play for the Asian side until 2023.
Due Covid-19 outbreak, Bangladesh football federation suspended the championship, Bayisenge returned to Rwanda, where he played for AS Kigali in the 2020/21 tournament, helping his side to finish second.
Saif Sporting Club, based in the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka, was founded in 2016 and is owned by Saif Powertec Limited, a company that manufactures car batteries.
Bayisenge is one of Rwanda’s top defenders, he played for Isonga FC before joining APR FC for five years until 2016.
He also played for other teams which include Morocco’s KAC de Kénitra and USM Alger between 2016 and 2018.
The 27-year-old was in the national side Amavubi for the Under-17 World Cup held in Mexico.
