Rwandan international Ange Mutsinzi has inked a two-year deal with Norwegian second tier club FK Jerv after parting ways with Portuguese outfit Clube Desportivo Trofense.
The news comes barely a week after the defender terminated his contract with Portuguese outfit CD Trofense by mutual consent following a spat over unpaid wages.
After completing his moves on Tuesday, February 7, the 25-year-old defender said that he chose Jerv after talks with the coaching staff.
“The coaching staff is good, I like the place very much and it feels at home”
He moved to Europe in August 2021 to join CD Trofense from army side APR FC.
He began his career with Southern Province-based club Muhanga FC prior to joining the vocal giants Rayon Sports in 2016 where he spent three seasons before moving to APR in 2019.
During his three years with Rayon Sports, he helped the club to clinch two league titles – for 2016-17 and the 2018-19 seasons – and most memorably, he helped them to reach the round of last eight in the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup and played quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup – all with Rayon Sports.
