Rwanda presents available investment opportunities in Agriculture at WEF in Davos

The Minister of State for the Ministry of Agriculture, Ildephonse Musafiri, who is in Davos attending the World Economic Forum(WEF) Annual Meeting participated in a dialogue hosted by AGRA-Africa on mobilizing investments in sustainable food and Agriculture systems in Africa.

Ildephonse Musafiri presented to investors available investment opportunities in the Agriculture sector in Rwanda in areas of Irrigation, mechanisation, cold chain, horticulture, fertilizer manufacturing, animal feed production, agro industry and fish farming.

On a panel discussion featuring Agnes Kalibata, President of AGRA-Africa, and other officials, Ildephonse Musafiri highlighted key Rwanda’s priorities on Food Systems; Access to safe and nutritious food, sustainable environment, and promoting decent livelihoods for farmers.

State Minister Ildephonse Musafiri mentions that Rwanda will take every opportunity to marshal investments in all sectors including agriculture at the AGRA_Africa event.

Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa is an organisation that seeks to transform African agriculture from a subsistence model to strong businesses that improve the livelihoods of the continent’s farming households. (End)
