“Kayonza is strategically located as the heart of Eastern Province; it is a crossroad to and from Kirehe and Ngoma, from Nyagatare and Gatsibo, Kigali and Rwamagana. But the question we have to ask ourselves is, can we provide the required services” he said.

In addition, Mayor Nyemezi advised the private sector to enhance their services in order to attract investors.

The chair of PSF in Kayonza district Charles Asiimwe, promised that Kayonza’s private sector will work together to make the necessary investment.

“We are organizing private sector trainings in different places in order to increase knowledge and skills in tourism.” He added.
