Rwanda is set to deepen its bilateral ties with Ethiopia as it seeks to further strengthen its health systems.
The two countries have begun to explore various opportunities for cooperation in the field of health.
Commenting on the collaboration, the Ethiopian Minister of Health, Dr. Lia Tadesse said that the sharing of experiences helps to strengthen and move forward the ongoing collaboration of both government ministries.
Dr. Lia Tadesse shared the views on each country’s experience in the field of health that could contribute to the promotion of normal cooperation between the two countries through the development of the health sector.
Minister Dr. Ngamije toured the St. Paul’s Medical School in Addis Ababa, and he was briefed on the medical courses and services provided and also paid a courtesy call to the Bio Health Center and the Dibandiba Emergency Medical Center located in Addis Ababa.
Minister Dr. Ngamije noted, “I thank you for your time with the entire team. St Paul Millennium College came as an innovation to solve real issues existing in the conservative approach to the training Health workforce,”
Rwanda and Ethiopia have close ties and strong ties in the fields of agriculture, trade, education, and more.
