Many entrepreneurs and young professionals in Rwanda continue to struggle with limited access to practical training and mentorship, challenges that often hold back small businesses and stall professional growth.
To help address these gaps, Tres Infrastructure Ltd, led by founder Twagiramungu Venuste, organized a workshop in Kigali on August 31, 2025. The session introduced participants to business problem-solving methods developed by the Hubbard College of Administration, a U.S.-based institution known for its hands-on approach to teaching management and workplace skills.
Twagiramungu said the purpose of the workshop was to demonstrate how these tools can help Rwandans overcome obstacles in business and employment. “There are solutions to every challenge,” he noted, explaining that simplified training methods can enable people to run businesses more effectively and achieve their goals.

The highlight of the event was the announcement that a branch of Hubbard College will officially open in Kigali on October 11, 2025, becoming the second in Africa after South Africa. The institution is expected to provide entrepreneurs, employees, and students with practical skills designed to prevent business failure and strengthen workplace performance.
Speakers also underscored the importance of mentorship, urging professionals to share their knowledge with young people entering the workforce. Organizers said such training and guidance will be crucial in preparing Rwanda’s human capital to compete on regional and global markets.
With the Kigali branch soon to open, the initiative is seen as a step toward equipping Rwandans with the tools needed to build sustainable businesses and drive the country’s ambition of achieving long-term prosperity.
