President Paul Kagame and several African heads of state are expected in Kigali in May 2026 for the Africa CEO Forum, a major gathering of business and political leaders focused on investment and economic growth.
Among those expected are Gabon President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema and Nigeria President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alongside other heads of government, senior executives and investors from across Africa and beyond.
The forum is scheduled for May 14–15, 2026, at the Kigali Convention Centre and is expected to attract more than 2,500 participants, including policymakers, chief executives and representatives of major financial institutions.
Organizers said the event will feature senior officials from development and investment institutions, including Makhtar Diop, Sidi Ould Tah and leaders from organizations such as BADEA, the Mastercard Foundation and BOAD. Business executives from companies including Schneider Electric and major African conglomerates are also expected.
Rwanda has hosted the Africa CEO Forum twice before, in 2019 and 2024, underscoring Kigali’s growing role as a hub for international business and investment meetings.
The forum is organized by Jeune Afrique Media Group in partnership with Switzerland-based Rainbow Unlimited.
Considered one of Africa’s leading private-sector gatherings, the forum brings together top executives and investors. Participating companies are typically required to generate at least €20 million in annual revenue.
