President Paul Kagame on Monday, January 13, 2025 arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to attend the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW). He will join President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of UAE and other world leaders at the opening ceremony.

During the event, President Kagame will also attend the Zayed Sustainability Prize awards. These prestigious awards honor small and medium-sized businesses, non-profits, and high schools for their innovative solutions to global challenges and their contributions to sustainability.

Throughout the week, President Kagame will meet with fellow leaders to discuss key global issues during the ADSW 2025 conference.

The ADSW brings together global leaders, business executives, scientists, innovators, and other key stakeholders. The aim is to find solutions to urgent global problems, promote energy sustainability, and drive progress for people around the world.

Themed, “The Nexus of Next. Supercharging Sustainable Progress”, the 2025 ADSW Summit will explore how to leverage advanced technologies to deliver a resilient, inclusive and prosperous future.

This year’s ADSW will focus on advancing technology for sustainable development, ensuring no one is left behind, and preparing for a more sustainable future.
