French cyclist Joris Delbove, riding for Team TotalEnergies, secured his second stage victory at the 2025 Tour du Rwanda by winning Stage 4 and, in the process, claiming the leader’s yellow jersey.

Thursday’s stage, on February 27, covered a 95.1 km route from Gisenyi, Rubavu near the conflict zone in Goma in DR Congo, to Gitesi.

Delbove crossed the finish line with a three-second lead over his closest rivals.

In the general classification, the 24-year-old now leads by two seconds over his compatriot and teammate Fabien Doubey, who was the previous day’s leader, and by five seconds over Germany’s Oliver Mattheis (BIKE AID).

Stage 5 of the Tour du Rwanda will take place on Friday, covering 143.2 km from Rusizi to Huye.
