Algeria’s national football team commenced their June international fixtures with a 2–0 triumph over Rwanda in a friendly match held in Constantine. Goals from Youssef Belaïli and Jaouen Hadjam ensured a comfortable win for the hosts.
The breakthrough came in the 28th minute when Hicham Bouadoui, showcasing his prowess on the right flank, delivered a precise cross to Belaïli, who headed the ball past Rwanda’s goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari.
Algeria continued to dominate and doubled their lead before the hour mark. Hadjam initiated a swift exchange with Belaïli, culminating in Hadjam slotting the ball into the near post, leaving Ntwari with little chance.
This match marked Algeria’s first of the June FIFA window, with an upcoming fixture against Sweden scheduled in Europe. For Rwanda, this was their sole match during the international break.
