A ten day weather forecast from Rwanda Meteorological Agency indicates that there will be heavy rains between 15 and 105mm in most parts of the country.
According to the weatherman, heavy rainfall will be experienced between October 21 and 25 in the Northern, Western and Southern Provinces near Nyungwe National Park.
The expected rainy days will be slightly above the normal rainfall in the ten days in the areas of Cyangugu, Gisenyi, Kibuye and Ruhengeri.
Many parts of the Eastern Province, especially in Kayonza, Gatsibo, Bugesera and Kirehe districts, are expected to receive light rains and high temperatures
According to Meteo Rwanda, occasional cloudiness is expected over the southern parts of the Eastern Province that is Kirehe and Kayonza, while rain is expected to be below the normal while it is expected to rain as usual during the other days.
In Kigali City, the temperature is expected to be between 26 and 30 degrees Celsius.
During the forecast period, maximum day time temperatures are likely to range from 18 degrees Celsius to 30, while minimum temperature are expected In the Eastern Province, Kigali, the Southern Province minimum temperature is expected to between 26 and 30 degrees Celsius.
