The Rwanda Defence Force Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Jean Bosco Kazura is on an official visit to France at the invitation of Gen Thierry Burkhard, Chief of Staff of the French Armed Forces.
Gen Kazura commenced his visit from 14 March 2022 and is expected to conclude on 17 March 2022.
The Rwanda military Chief was accompanied on his four-day official visit with head of Defence Intelligence, the Head of International Military Cooperation and the RDF Chief Operations and training (Chief J3).
Rwanda’s Ministry of Defence announced of their website that, bilateral discussions are centered around opportunities to revive and strengthen Defence Cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The statement highlighted that discussions were also on regional and global security dynamics.
