Rwandan Minister of Health Dr Ngamije Daniel is attending the Global Pandemic Preparedness Summit that brings together global community including governments, science and academia, industry, international agencies, philanthropy and civil society to explore how the world better prepares for future pandemics.

The summit is co-hosted by the UK Government and the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) and is taking place in London, UK. CEPI want to stop future epidemics by developing new vaccines for a safer world.

In the sidelines of the Global Pandemic Preparedness Summit, Minister Dr Ngamije Daniel signed, with Dr Richard Hatchett the CEO of CEPI, a Memorandum of Understanding between RBC(Rwanda Biomedical Centre) and CEPI to improve vaccine research, development and manufacturing in Rwanda. (End)
