The Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA) announced on Wednesday a decrease in fuel pump prices, effective from today, June 05, at 9:00 PM, for a duration of two months. The adjustments are as follows:

The maximum retail price of gasoline has been reduced to 1,663 RWF per liter, down from 1,764 RWF, a decrease of 101 RWF.

The maximum retail price for diesel (Automotive Gas Oil) has been revised to 1,652 RWF per liter, down from 1,684 RWF, a decrease of 32 RWF from the prices in April 2024.

According to RURA, these adjustments are based on recent fluctuations in international petroleum product prices.
