Starting Wednesday to Friday this week, Kayonza District is having an exhibition for its stakeholders showcasing their different activities. Around 102 exhibitors from the social, economic, good governance and service delivery participated in the three day event.
The expo was organised by the district’s Joint Action Development Forum (JADF) to exhibit activities and services they extend to the residents of Kayonza.
The Mayor, Jean Claude Murenzi officially opening the event on Wednesday called for concerted efforts between stakeholders to uplift the well-being of residents and Rwandans in general.
The Mayor said that they all need to work together as a sure way development will be achieved sustainably. He lauded stakeholders who organised the exhibition and all those who turned up.
Edward Shyaka, the Projects Director of Partners in Health and Chairman of JADF in Kayonza District observed that the event had received a high participation by stakeholders, thanking all participants who came to showcase their services and products.
During the 3-day open day, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), private companies, public institutions, small enterprises (SME) and civil society will exhibit their services and products at the district compound and gardens.
Public institutions will also be offering services to the public including healthcare, land, identity card services among others.
