President Filipe Nyusi of Mozambique this Thursday arrived in Rwanda for a three-day state visit. He was welcomed by President Paul Kagame at Kigali International Airport and the two leaders held discussions at village Urugwiro.
“Welcome to Rwanda my brother and friend, President Filipe Nyusi. We look forward to hosting you for the next three days,” President Kagame tweeted.
The state visit is aimed at improving relations between the two countries, the Mozambican delegation intendes to hold discussions with Rwandan officials on various issues and review bilateral cooperation.
The visiting head of state will visit different places including Kigali Genocide Memorial and tour Kigali special economic zone, which is home to different industries.
